About

 Meet Jennifer

jennifer-vaaler-independant Damsel Pro_ NC_HickoryHi! I’m Jennifer, your Independent Damsel Pro and safety advocate.

As a survivor of physical and emotional domestic violence, I know how it feels to be blindsided by what I thought was someone who loved me. Only to become emotionally torn down, lose self-worth and any confidence I once had. I would have never imagined that emotional abuse could hurt more than physical abuse. After a long struggle to start my life over, I continue to heal.

Why I joined Damsel in Defense

This company gives me the opportunity to help more people, on a larger scale, to change the world.

I’m able to share my passion and mission with you and be part of something bigger than myself, to help decrease statistics of violence. To be fearless instead of fearful. To be our own Knight in shining armor.

I’m an advocate for women safety to be prepared, domestic violence awareness and sexual assault awareness. I want to be the voice, I didn’t know I had, for others. This is my healing process. I hope to help prevent violence through education and personal safety tools, or for you to join Damsel in Defense as a healing tool yourself.
